This beautiful 7-piece sterling silver tea service was manufactured by the renowned Tiffany & Co. of New York City. This set is believed to have been made between 1854 and 1870 by J.C. Moore and Son for Tiffany & Co.

This stunning tea service features an array of unique characteristics including an elegant serpentine monogram that is surrounded by delicate scrollwork. Each piece stands on a simple foot. Each piece is bulbous and features a decorative band that separates the smooth unadorned lower half from the beautifully etched top half. The hot water kettle’s stand showcases four elegant Baroque feet and an ornamental structure that supports the kettle. Each handle has a fluid design. Several pieces in the set are crowned by a simple finial. The set includes a 5-cup tea pot measuring 5 3/4 inches in height, a 5-cup coffee pot, a kettle with stand measuring 11 3/4 inches in height, a sugar bowl with lid measuring 4 3/4 inches in height, a creamer measuring 4 1/2 inches in height, a waste bowl measuring 3 7/8 inches in height, and a hot milk pitcher measuring 7 inches in height.
